Conquered: French Town Votes to Allow Sharia 'Burkinis' in Swimming Pools

The migrant dense French city of Grenoble has formally allowed Muslim women to wear sharia-adherent burkinis in public pools – a woman’s swimsuit covering the entire body. In the past thirty years, France has willfully accepted to undergo an accelerated process of Islamization.

Despite massive political opposition, The municipal council narrowly approved the new controversial rules during a meeting on Monday.

After a heated debate, there were 29 left-wing votes in favor of the measure, with 27 councilors voting against it and two shameful abstentions.

“The politicians claim they respect human rights, but they seem to have forgotten the human rights of the women who do not wear a veil. They do not seem concerned by the human rights of those who suffer from Islamization, who are no longer free to write, think, or go for a walk on the street.”

Many opponents argue that the burkini symbolizes women’s oppression, similar to the full veil worn in some Muslim-majority countries. At the same time, many see the coverings as the women’s commitment to Sharia.

As the Islamic scholar Dr. Bill Warner explains, “most people see the hijab (or burkini) as religious or cultural, but the hijab is a symbol of the Sharia and has a very political meaning.” Thus, the burkini in the west is not about modesty or fashion but a hate symbol and a commitment to Islamic Law (Sharia).

The move has been backed by leftist “women’s rights activists” in France, who has campaigned for people to “wear what they want” at swimming pools. Muslims erupted in cheers after Grenoble city council approved the wearing of burkini in swimming pools:

France’s Interior Minister, Gérald Darmanin, stated the government would block the move, which contradicts French laws on secularism and the “neutrality of public service.” He described the decision as an “unacceptable community provocation, contrary to our values.”

The conservative president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes threatened on Twitter to pull all regional funding to the city over their decision to submit to Islam.

As reported by Gatestone, “the Islamic veil at school, or the burkini at the beach, seems an attempt to “re-religiousize” France and break the French consensus for secularism. For a hundred years, everyone has accepted the consensus — Catholics, Jews, Protestants — except for Muslims.

The consensus can be summarized like this: Religious beliefs cannot belong to the public sphere without risking tyranny or civil war. Therefore, if French citizens want to live in peace democratically, all disturbing subjects — especially faith in a country of multiple religions — must remain strictly private.

For almost 30 years now, Muslim organizations in France have told everyone they do not accept this old private-public rule. There are constant attempts to remodel the curriculum to align with religious faith, even in public schools.

Furthermore, for decades Muslims have also been threatening they will conquer France. Yusuf al-Qaradawi, spiritual leader of the leading Islamic movement in France, explained their plans to Islamize the country. He gave Muslims living in the West instructions on how to proceed: they may use terror, they may use seduction, exploit Westerners’ sense of guilt, grab public spaces, change laws, and create their own society inside Western societies until they become Muslim societies.

Black veils have become common in France, and even despite the supposed ban on face-covering niqabs, they have never disappeared, reports Gatestone. Halal menus are in virtually every school; students who do not eat sharia-compliant food are harassed. History books praise Islamic civilization, and in most schools, speaking of the Holocaust or mentioning Judaism is understood to be forbidden. Few women go out uncovered in Muslim neighborhoods, and Muslim areas have become “sharia zones.”

Muslims will not stop colonizing France. Why should they? No one is compelling them to.

They seem to assume that the future belongs to them. Birthrates also give them hope. The transformation of France proves them correct.

They are aware that the Muslim population is growing; that most French Muslims aged thirty or younger consider themselves Muslims first and want an Islamic France.

Muslims see that almost no French politician except Eric Zemmour dares to say that Islam creates problems. French journalists write under the threat of trial or assault and rarely use the phrase “Islamic terrorism.”

The French are concerned about the consequences of making Muslims angry. Muslims have put the French and the rest of the free world on notice: if you insult Muhammad, Islam, their holy books, or even fail to consider Islamic law (Sharia) in all things, we will harm you.

After the 2015 Charlie Hebdo Muslim terrorist attacks rocked France, any writings or words critical of Islam made anyone a target for assassination attempts and intimidation campaigns. Fearing for their lives, most French institutions and individuals respond with self-censorship and submission to Islam.

The Kouachi brothers did not just succeed in physically silencing Charlie Hebdo’s journalists in 2015; they have successfully imposed sharia and silenced an entire national culture.
