Czech Political Leader Takes a Stand Against US Troops and Nuclear Weapons on Home Soil (Video)

Tomio Okamura, leader of the Freedom and Direct Democracy party, opposes the proposed treaty due to his belief that it violates Czechia’s national sovereignty.

Tomio Okamura, the leader of the Freedom and Direct Democracy party (SPD) political party in Czechia, has declared his opposition to the proposed stationing of American troops on Czech soil and the placement of nuclear weapons in Czechia. In a video statement, he states that his party does not want any foreign troops or bases on Czech territory, nor do they want to create conditions for a potential build-up in the future.

According to Mr. Okamura, who has been dubbed the “Czech Trump,” the presence of foreign troops on Czech soil must be subjected to the approval of the House of Commons and not decided by the government alone on the basis of a treaty. He believes that the treaty proposed by Fiala’s ruling coalition is unfavorable to the Czech Republic and redundant because the USA has already closed such treaties with only 24 member states out of 31.

Moreover, Mr. Okamura points out that the Czech Republic has already rid itself of one set of troops after thirty years of occupation and does not wish to have others on its territory. He also insists on the clear refusal of the potential placement of nuclear weapons on the territory of the Czech Republic.

Mr. Okamura is a multicultural Czech with a Japanese father and a Moravian mother. He has previously warned that the first goal of the radical left is to destroy patriotism and attack the family, with such advancement visible throughout the Western world. Okamura is an outspoken critic of illegal migration, Islamisation, and European Union policies, having previously called for the Czech Republic to leave the bloc.

His opposition to the stationing of foreign troops and the placement of nuclear weapons on Czech soil is rooted in his party’s belief that such actions violate national sovereignty.

The proposed treaty between the Czech Republic and the United States has been a topic of controversy in recent times. While the treaty has the support of the ruling coalition, Mr. Okamura’s party, the SPD, is firmly against it. The treaty proposes the stationing of American troops on Czech soil and is seen by some as a step towards strengthening the Czech Republic’s defense capabilities.

However, others, including Mr. Okamura, believe the treaty threatens national sovereignty and security. They argue that the presence of foreign troops on Czech soil could create tensions with neighboring countries. At the same time, the placement of nuclear weapons could escalate global tensions and make the Czech Republic a potential target for attack.

  • thats how you felt about hitler and the nazi’s. if you don’t have the west help protect your territory then russia will do it again.

I agree 100% with Mr. Okamura, and live in the States. We don’t want billions of dollars sent to be laundered by our corruptocrats to cover up their crimes. We don’t want war, and warmongering. Our media is pro-Ukraine, and has severe Putinosis. They are idiots, and many are perverts too.

  • It is the only reasonable position to take. If Czech Republic was to accept nuclear weapon missiles on its territory, the country is a target for instant annihilation were the US choose to attack Russia from those missiles.

That is why it so far has not been allowed.
