This past weekend, the Danish-Swedish party leader Rasmus Paludan began his election tour for his newly launched Swedish party Stram Kurs Sverige. The politician, known for Islam-critical demonstrations and Qur’an burning in both Denmark and Sweden, has now set his sights on this Fall’s Swedish parliamentary elections. Paludan’s candidacy has caused a big stir in Sweden. This past weekend ended with a mob of violent Muslims rushing out of their Mosque, attempting to assassinate the politician.
Paludan announced he would kick off his election tour with several Qur’an burnings outside of mosques in Sweden starting Saturday. Also, on Sunday, Paludan scheduled a counter-demonstration at the Social Democrats’ May 1 parade in Stockholm. Following the demonstration, he planned to burn the Qur’an in Uppsala. However, after the Easter weekend Islamic riots, police denied his party’s request to hold the Qur’an burning in front of the Social Democrats’ May 1 Stockholm parade.
Paludan, a citizen of Denmark and Sweden, says he has the right to carry out the demonstration but acknowledges that it is a risky, even life-threatening, plan. Not only must Paludan face threats to his life by Muslims living in Sweden, but police do not want to risk their own safety protecting him:
I am a Swedish citizen and a parliamentary candidate, so I have the full right to be in and speak in Sweden. But it is very risky for me, because the police do not want to protect me. I am the most threatened person in Sweden, so it is clear that it can be dangerous, he says to Fokus.
On March 4, 2022, Sweden’s National Police Chief, Anders Thornberg, announced that police should protect Paludan from violence or murder. The Chief made this announcement even though they assessed a massive threat to his life by Islamic terrorists.
Paludan believes the decision not to protect him comes from the government. He believes that they would like him killed, so the government has one less political opponent to stand in the upcoming elections.
Easter Weekend Islamic Riots
Over Easter weekend, Paludan scheduled protests in Sweden against Islamic Supremacy. Paludan organized demonstrations in some of the country’s most dangerous, immigrant-dense areas, widely considered no-go-zones. These protests, which coincided with the Muslim holiday Ramadan, were to show that Islamic values are not compatible with liberal Swedish society and its freedom of expression and opinion.
Paludan’s mission is to educate the public on the damaging effects of Islam, fight against Sharia, and protect Swedes who are under attack by Islamic supremacists. Unfortunately, his mission to help others has landed him on the Muslim terrorist group al-Qaeda’s “Kill List.”
As Paludan has previously explained to RAIR Foundation USA, he believes that highlighting the inevitable violence from the slightest provocation will demonstrate the Swedish police’s loss of control over Islamic migrant areas. Mr. Paludan stated:
Sweden has been much more disturbed by Islam than Denmark. Our actions have shown that freedom of speech and freedom of peaceful assembly no longer exists in Sweden. Now, Sharia is the law of the land.
Paludan proved to be correct, as police on Easter weekend were forced to retreat from the rioting Muslims. The migrants threw stones and Molotov cocktails at the police. They seized their cars and uniforms. Also, set fires to cars, buses, dumpsters, and buildings. As the politician previously stated, “I am 100 percent sure if I burned 100 Bibles and 100 Torahs, no Christian or Jew would threaten or attack me.”
Instead of police and the Swedish government fighting to ban and deport the Islamic terrorists rioting, attacking them, and destroying Sweden, they target Paludan. They do not understand or care that Paludan and his political party Stram Kurs are attempting to preserve their freedoms.

Sunday’s Qur’an Burnings

On Sunday, in Stockholm, despite the state’s ban, Paludan attended the Social Democrats’ May 1 parade and burned a copy of the Qur’an. The politician did it in a public place; however, he chose to do it without publicity and with no crowd of supporters present. Before doing so, he made a statement that distinguished his own actions and the burning of books by totalitarian states. I do not want to see all copies of the Koran destroyed, he emphasized; he wants everyone in Sweden to read it and discover for themselves how evil it is.
Later in the day, the politician burned the Qur’an burning in front of Stockholm Central Mosque. Notice that Paludan must wear a bulletproof vest and protective helmet while burning the Islam’s “Holy Book”:

Later in the day, Paluda attempted to burn a copy of the Qur’an outside a mosque in Uppsala; however, he was forced to run for his life. A mob of Muslims ran out of their Mosque and chased him back to his car. Many of the “men” climbed on to his car and tried to break his windshield. The jihadis tried to pull Paludan and his co-workers from the vehicle, which was damaged. Police armed with “batons” eventually held back the violent Muslims. However, two were injured, along with a few cars.
Moments before the Muslims came charging out of their mosque, Paludan was able to film himself burning the Qur’an:
Paludan’s vehicle was damaged, and his car was eventually towed from the scene. Despite the assault on Paludan, his crew, and police, only two Muslims were arrested for the attack.
Politicians and left-wing media do not seem to understand the notion that Rasmus Paludan and his political party are attempting to preserve the freedoms of citizens. Furthermore, they want to ensure the safety of non-muslims who live under threat and regular attacks from migrants Islamic supremacists. With Left-wing politicians, Antifa, and Islamic supremacists aligning, it is only making them grow more dangerous by the day.

Maybe if people would stop going up to them and taunting them because of their beliefs there would not be such rancor. Name one incident of a Bible being burned at a church? There is none. Its a created crisis by fanatics on both sides who profess to worship the same God. In fact it is quite childish. The government is to blame, they knew what it would be by allowing them to migrate into lands that are not theirs. Peace and compromise or war and strife, choose your own fate people.
“there is none”?? If you Google “bible burning” you will quickly be disabused of that nonsense. Atheists, secularists, communists, feminists and various other non-Christians (most of whom would be too cowardly to burn a Quran) burn bibles all the time, which they have every right to do. It’s not a story when the Bible is burned because most Christians don’t go around attempting to kill anyone who insults their religion.
“Immigrants” are now, get this – 20 percent! – of the Swedish population. That country is done.
