Vox Party Slams Congress: Citizens will Not allow Spain to be converted into 'Multicultural Dung Heaps' (Watch)

Deputy of Vox party Rocío de Meer, accused Spain’s socialist-led government of “lying” to and “extorting” Spanish citizens while not protecting the country’s borders. “Spain is not protecting its sovereignty. It is not protecting Spaniards, and it is not protecting the doors and walls of it’s house,” stated the deputy leader.

Spain’s Permanent Deputation of Congress had a heated debate over Vox’s criticism of the Pedro Sánchez Government’s open borders immigration policy, after the onslaught of illegal boat arrivals and massive attacks to the Melilla border fence have increased in recent weeks.

Just two days prior, Deputy de Meer who is the Vox party spokesperson on immigration matters, posted a video on her Twitter account highlighting the illegal invasion taking place. The video which was recorded in Almería showed a group of illegal migrants who were previously intercepted and detained, being released from the reception center. Instead of facing deportation, the migrants are seen strutting their new status while shouting “Freedom.”

“How long will they continue to deceive the Spanish?, asked Rocío de Meer at the start of her speech. For De Meer, the Government is “allowing” this entry and is not “protecting the Spanish.” She slammed the government for allowing a “first world” country to be “extorted” by “third world” countries and expressed shock that they “cannot do anything to prevent it.”

The Vox Deputy accused Spain’s “progressive government” led by President Sánchez’s Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE) and the left-wing People’s party (PP) of aiding NGO human trafficking vessels at sea. “NGOs like Open Arms are to blame for all the deaths” in the Mediterranean and are “promoting a migratory invasion” under the directives of the governments progressives in Europe. Meanwhile, they are “blaming the Spaniards who believe in the legitimate defense of their sovereignty and their borders.”

Do you want to blame the Spaniard whose hand was cut off by an Algerian a few days ago in Barcelona? Do you want to blame the 12-year-old girl from Azuqueca de Henares who was raped by a gang of five Moroccans and a Nigerian? Do you want to blame the forces and agencies of state security or the National Police attacked last Saturday by an Algerian in the CETI detention center in Almeria?

Deputy Rocío de Meer closed her speech with a criticism of multiculturalism:

Multiculturalism works very well among Arab sheikhs, bankers in the Upper East Side and presidents of administration councils. Multiculturalism works very badly in El Puche in Almeria. It works very badly in Niger, it functions very badly in Raval in Barcelona, and it functions very badly in Lavapies.

In the opinion of the Vox deputy, “Massive regulation and the conceding of nationality, Honorable Members of Podemos [left-wing political party], is not patriotism. It’s ketchup.”

The reference to “ketchup” by Rocío de Meer comes after during the she was violently attacked last month by Antifa and a radical pro-separatist group in Sestao. The deputy was hit with an object in the head causing a significant hemorrhage while at an event with Vox Party leader, Santiago Abascal. The deputy and leader were surrounded, harassed and threatened by the violent mob. Abascal posted a picture of de Meer’s injury on his Twitter social media account.  However, several deputies from left-wing Podemos accused De Meer that the blood seen in the photographs was actually ketchup.

Canaries with alarming arrivals that have increased 520% in respect to the totals of the 
previous year. And I remind you, as did Mr. Txema Guijarro not long ago, that we are in a 
worldwide pandemic, and there are some who if we allow to cross our borders, Spain is not protecting 
its sovereignty. It is not protecting Spaniards, and it is not protecting the doors and walls of 
its house.

There have been 3,000 arrivals of illegal immigrants in the last five weeks.

As of August 18, 12,237 illegal immigrants entered Spain, totals higher than Greece, and yes, 
this is alarming.

These are not totals that we don’t have to take into account.

And I cannot believe that in the first world, a country that is being extorted by countries
in the third world, and we cannot do anything to avoid it, and that we don’t have our forces 
and agencies of security of the State available to protect our borders.

It is something that I simply cannot believe.

And you are promoting a migratory invasion that, besides, you are absolutely guilty.

And the victims are the Spanish citizens, and you and all the tentacles of the great
elites who are promoting this migratory invasion, like the progressive governments or the NGOs, 
are the guilty ones for all this.

In the last few days we have just seen the Astral again returning to the Mediterranean, and the 
state will be responsible for all and every one of the deaths in the Mediterranean.

Because with governments like that of Australia, which has absolutely closed and blocked the
migratory routes to Australia, do you know how many deaths there are in the sea?

None. When the borders are protected, the humanitarian drama is avoided.

And besides, you are extorting the Spaniards because you are blaming the Spaniards who
believe in the legitimate defense of their sovereignty and their borders.

Of the dead Africans in the Mediterranean, who do you want to take the blame?
