Court of Appeal: Life Sentence for Mohamedamin in Honor Killing of Pregnant Girlfriend
The Göta Court of Appeal has upheld the life sentence issued by the Örebro District Court against 22-year-old Mohamedamin Ibrahim from Somalia for the racist honor killing of his pregnant Swedish girlfriend, Saga. The unborn child, of whom Mohamedamin was to be the father, also died.
Just two months before Saga was to give birth, she was brutally murdered by Mohamedamin, her Islamic boyfriend and the father of the unborn child. In the bedroom, she was strangled to death with a lamp cord, and the baby could not be saved.
Mohamedamin was arrested the same evening on suspicion of murder. The court’s verdict stated that the murder was committed under “strong pressure from the family not to be with a white woman.” However, as in other similar cases, the family was not directly involved in the actual killing. In a text message to his family shortly before the murder, Mohamedamin wrote: ‘Swear by Allah, I will not be with a white person.’
Since Mohamedamin has been granted Swedish citizenship, he cannot be deported after serving his sentence.

The fact that Ibrahim has had Swedish citizenship since 2016 means that even if he is convicted, he cannot be deported. This has sparked concerns about the country’s immigration policies and the protection of its citizens, particularly women.
According to the prosecutor, Ibrahim and Saga had a relationship with each other. However, the circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear. The prosecutor also stated that there is a risk of Ibrahim tampering with evidence or complicating the investigation if he is released, which is why he has been detained on a higher level of suspicion.
Ibrahim has a criminal record, having been previously convicted of attempted robbery and illegal driving. His case and other recent incidents of violence against women in Sweden have led to a heated debate about the country’s open-border immigration policies and how they may impact its citizens’ safety.
Last year, a 40-year-old woman was violently attacked by four Eritrean migrants in Flemingsberg, south of Stockholm. The attackers knocked the woman to the ground in a wooded area and took turns raping her. Two of the perpetrators then led her into an elevator at Flemingsberg train station, where they raped her again while one of the accomplices stood guard outside. The incident was filmed on a mobile phone camera, indicating a “special recklessness or brutality.”
In another case, a nine-year-old girl was raped and nearly killed in the multicultural district of Morö Backe in Skellefteå by a 15-year-old Ethiopian serial sexual offender posing as a 13-year-old. The child was beaten, strangled, tied to a tree, and sexually assaulted. As a result, she is now permanently brain-damaged and must use a wheelchair.
Other incidents include the gang-rape of a young woman in a park in Malmö by five teenage Syrian Muslim migrants, interrupted by two police officers who happened to be patrolling the area. The victim’s attorney said her client experienced every woman’s worst nightmare.
These incidents, along with many others, have led some to question Sweden’s ability to protect its citizens, particularly women. For example, in 2016, the police in Östersund advised women not to walk alone at night due to at least six reports of violent sexual attacks against women. In addition, the regional police chief warned women against traveling alone in the city.
In 2017, the media reported that the police had no time to investigate rape cases due to the many murders in the country. Today, women in Sweden are afraid to go outside in the daytime for fear of being raped, beaten, harassed, strangled, or killed.
Sadly, women victimized by migrants often receive little support in Sweden, and the political establishment and state-controlled media often whitewash their crimes. In addition, women who speak out about their concerns are sometimes labeled as “racists” and may face repercussions, including being fired from their jobs or arrested.

Camera captured his movements near the trail. Cell phone data also put him at the scene of the crime. This happens quite a bit now. Crimes go unpunished. Felons are let loose to roam about. In 2022 alone, nearly 1.6 million euros flowed from the European Climate Foundation via the company “Smart Energy for Europe Platform (SEFEP) gGmbH,” sponsor of “Agora Energiewende,” “Agora Industrie” and “Agora Agrar.” Another 5.9 million euros came from Harvey’s Climate Imperative Foundation. That makes 7.5 million euros – 83 percent more than in the previous year.
