Taxpayer Alert: Biden to Dump Millions of Banned Covid Vaccines Overseas (Video)

In a troubling statement this week, Joe Biden acknowledged that America already sent millions of unauthorized, unapproved AstraZeneca vaccines to Canada and Mexico in March. Further, he vowed to ship more AstraZeneca vaccines internationally “once the FDA has reviewed this and said it’s safe”.

The AstraZeneca vaccine has not been approved or authorized for use in America. Numerous countries suspended the drug after reports of blood clots. Denmark banned it altogether. American taxpayers paid AstraZeneca, a foreign company, one billion dollars to produce the vaccine.

Buried in an AP article from last month, an “additional quality review” would need to take place “before the U.S. shares the AstraZeneca doses…because of issues at the facility that produced them.”

Some of the issues at the Emergent BioSolutions plant in Baltimore, where the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines were manufactured at the tune of 628 million taxpayer dollars, include problems “with mold, poor disinfection of plant equipment and inadequate training of employees,” according to an article posted today at CNBC.

Biden did not mention that part.

As discussed below, none of the coronavirus vaccines have been approved by the FDA. Moderna, Pfizer and the Johnson & Johnson vaccines have Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) designation only. The AstraZeneca vaccine does not even have EUA designation.

Currently, AstraZeneca is trying to persuade the FDA to just approve the vaccine, skipping the EUA application altogether. As reported at ABC News last week:

Many are eager for COVID-19 vaccines to advance to full-approval status as they believe this will reassure those who are vaccine hesitant while also helping employers and universities to enforce vaccine mandates.

There is a nuance in this quote. The rationale for approval should not be vaccine coercion.

Media Outlets Keep Falsely Saying the Vaccines are Approved

The handlers who wrote Biden’s remarks at least acknowledge that the coronavirus vaccines have not been approved by the FDA. In the wake of his speech, media outlets once again falsely reported that America would be shipping “approved” vaccines to the world, ignoring that none of the vaccines have been approved by the FDA.

‘Approved’ vs. ‘Authorized’

Zero coronavirus vaccines are “approved” for use in the United States. The Pfizer Inc., Moderna Inc. and Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccines have only been given Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) but have not been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

To gain actual approval from the FDA, pharmacuetical companies would have to go through a vigorous data collection and review process that would likely take many months to compile in order to submit what is known as a Biologics License Application (BLA).

The AstraZeneca vaccine has not been approved OR given EUA status in America, but taxpayers funded it and Biden shipped it to to Canada and Mexico anyway.

From Biden’s quite strange and contradictory statement:

In March, we shared over 4 million doses of our AstraZeneca vaccine with Canada and Mexico. At the end of April, we announced that we would provide another 60 million doses of our AstraZeneca vaccine overseas.

Remember, this is the vaccine that is not authorized for use in the United States yet, so we’re going to be sending it to folks once the FDA has reviewed this and said it’s safe. This is all the AstraVeneca [sic] vaccine produced in the United States — all of it will be sent to other countries.

Biden continued:

And today, I’m announcing that we’ll also share U.S.-authorized vaccines doses of Pfizer and Moderna and Johnson & Johnson, as they become available, with the rest of the world as well. These are vaccinations and vaccines that are authorized to be put in arms of Americans.

The difference between “Approved” and “Authorized” is important. It is likely that the vast majority of Americans believe the vaccines have been approved, based on the irresponsible and dangerous reporting from the mainstream media.
